The Carter Bridge (aka ”Ghost Bridge”) is in Oak Grove, KY. Ghost Bridge is a bridge on Carter Road that crosses the Red River. There has been much discussion along the paranormal websites, blogs, meet and greets, and social media pages regarding the Kentucky ”Ghost Bridge”. Covered in Graffiti, surrounded by woods, and on a mostly deserted road, this location is creepy in the fall/winter and beautiful in the spring/summer.
War Memorial Walking Trail Disc Golf Course
Located just off I-24, exit 86, near Hwy 41A at Walter Garrett Lane, the park pays homage to the veterans from all U.S. wars and conflicts by displaying a series of markers along the wooded trail. The Viceroy Butterfly Garden is located inside the Oak Grove War Memorial Park. It is designed to attract butterflies throughout all phases of their lives. This space not only plays host to these enchanting creatures but it serves as a place of relaxation and reflection.
Viceroy Performing Arts Center
The Viceroy creates a venue for family oriented concerts and events, where people can enjoy outdoor entertainment in a pleasant amphitheater setting. The “Vice” opened in November 2008 and has held events, festivals and concerts throughout the spring, summer and fall to include big named artists such as Thomas Rhett, Easton Corbin, Rodney Atkins, and Tyler Farr. This amphitheater is complete with not only a stage, but a loading dock, dressing rooms, kitchen, production room, and storage.
