Green River Park & Arboretum is located on the banks of the beautiful Green River in historic Downtown Munfordville. The park has much to offer for both locals or those visiting us from other areas. You will find a playground area for the kids, disc golf, hiking, camping, and a boat ramp that can be used for boating, canoeing, kayaking or fishing. There are also several picnic shelters available for an afternoon in the park.
The Carter Bridge (aka ”Ghost Bridge”) is in Oak Grove, KY. Ghost Bridge is a bridge on Carter Road that crosses the Red River. There has been much discussion along the paranormal websites, blogs, meet and greets, and social media pages regarding the Kentucky ”Ghost Bridge”. Covered in Graffiti, surrounded by woods, and on a mostly deserted road, this location is creepy in the fall/winter and beautiful in the spring/summer.

Shanty Hollow Lake is a 135-acre reservoir mostly in Warren County, Kentucky, but also extending into Edmonson County. It was constructed in 1951. The lake is located approximately 17 miles north of Bowling Green and is used for fishing.

Nolin Lake State Park is a park located along the northern edge of Mammoth Cave National Park in Edmonson County. The park encompasses 333 acres while Nolin Lake, the park’s main feature, covers 5,795 acres. Edmonson is a rural county that has a gently rolling terrain that in places gives way to steep hills. The county has both Nolin and Green Rivers flowing within its boundaries.
Located in Edmonson County, the Nolin dam was created in 1963. The lake varies from 2,890 acres in the winter to 5,795 acres in summer.
